Local College Golfer - Financial Assistance Requested
Claire Hogle, a student at Cal State University San Marcos and an accomplished member of the Women's Golf Team is seeking financial assistance.
With the spring and fall golf season cancelled through the University, Claire no longer has golf course privileges to practice and prepare for summer tournaments as well as the spring 2021 school season. Both parents have been impacted financially due to the Covid-19 pandemic and unfortunately, are unable to cover the costs associated with practice, coaching, equipment, event travel and tournament fees.
Claire is quite talented and is dedicated to competing professionally on the LPGA, Ladies Professional Golf Association. Claire practices 6 hours daily, six days a week, in addition to two jobs and her tournament schedule. Claire won the West Coast Women's Amateur at Bayonet in Monterey last summer and will be defending her title this summer. Additionally, Claire shot the low round at the 2019 NCAA D2 Nationals with a score of 4 under, 69 at PGA National Golf Course.
