Claire came home from the hospital yesterday. All of her labs and vitals are stable and showing good signs of progress. She still has a long road of recovery. More surgeries are planned in 2 months once her body has had time to rest and endure the stress of another surgery. She has external bags to drain excess fluids due to severe kidney damage. Claire and her family are extremely touched and thankful for everyone's kindness and generosity. They sincerely thank you all and send their love!
Our dear friend Claire and 3 of our other friends were on their way to go camping for the weekend when they were hit head on. Thankfully they managed to get themselves out before the car engulfed itself in flames. As there were many injuries- we are happy to report our other friends are recovering at home. This go fund me is for Claire, she is starting her up hill battle with the injuries that resulted from this accident. Currently she is still in the intensive care unit. She will be in the ICU for some time as they plan her recovery and also plan her next surgeries. Our estimate is a guess at what she will need. This money will help provide Claire and her family with the ability to pay her medical bills, housing bills, and life expenses as she is still at the hospital. If you don't know her personally, Claire is one of those people who will treat you as if you are family the moment you walk in the door, open arms and ready to learn everything about you.
