Fighting Cancer

Hello Facebook Family and Friends. This is my niece Jentry Cardoso Luis and her family. About 10 days ago she was diagnosed with Stage 4 Colon Cancer that has also spread to the Liver. While many of us fell apart at the news, she stayed strong and is determined to beat this. Last Friday we were given the awesome news by one of her many Doctors, this is treatable and there is a plan in place that will start happening very quickly. I come to you with a heavy heart, not because I feel that she won't win her fight, because I know she will, but because with any battle with cancer there is a huge financial burden. Even when you have job and insurance, you have to have the resources to pay the premium when you don't have the hours on the books. You also have the gas for the many Dr.'s appointments and the things that insurance doesn't cover. For those of you who are State employees as she is, she works at ASP and there will be a CTB set up for her soon if you are able to donate time. For those of you who are not state employees and would want to help a go fund me account link has been set up. If you can donate, no matter how small my family would be very appreciative. If you are unable to donate and can simply keep her in you thoughts and prays, that would be awesome also. If you know Jentry, you know that she is a very kind and loving person. She has helped others in need and we want to make this fight as stress free (when it comes to finances) as possible. For those of you in my family that are hearing this news in this forum, I am so sorry. These last few days have been a world wind and we have not been able to notify you individualy.
