Helping Firefighters & honoring a brother.

Hello, my name is Brook Johnson. I am a 20 year veteran of my fire department. Want to join me in making a difference? I'm raising money to benefit the Firefighter Cancer Support Network Inc., and to honor my fallen brother Capt. Anthony Whetzel that was taken from us way to soon by cancer September 15th, 2018. Anthony dedicated his life to the fire service, the department he worked for, serving all citizens and his community. He was an amazing family man, loving husband and a father of two children. 
He had never met a stranger and was a loyal friend to all. He enjoyed hunting, watching UVA sports and always loved to pull a great prank.

  The FCSN assisted my brother in need just weeks after his diagnosis. FCSN provided support to Anthony in several ways and by setting up a mentorship with other firefighters that had the same diagnosis as Anthony's. 

I believe from now until August 2021 when my wife and I will travel to the IAFF Fallen Firefighters Memorial in Colorado Springs to see Anthony's name that has been placed on the wall, we can easily reach my personal goal of raising $20,000.
