Prayers for Josh Smith

Please make a donation!!! Any and everything helps ! This page was made to help raise money for the Dr bills of Joshua Aaron Smith. As some of you may know Josh was in an accident on August 3rd around 1:30am. He was ejected from the vehicle and found an hour later. He was immediately airlifted to roanoke where he entered the emergency department around 3am. He received several blood transfusions and 14 components of blood. He suffered a traumatic brain injury a collapsed lung and a broken elbow. There is no organ damage in the thoracic or abdominal cavities but we suspect he may have a broken foot and a few other acute injuries. He underwent a bilateral frontal craniectomy which is the removal of the top front portion of the skull to release the pressure on the brain. He had another ct scan at 1am and the results came back with only few changes nothing drastic. Doctors suspect the drainage will end in a few days and there are no new bleeds thankfully. Vitals are stable but when sedation was allowed to wear off he was unable to respond to verbal commands but responsive to pain. His pupils are responsive to light and his vitals fluctuate when he hears our voices. Please continue to pray, our family is eternally grateful for all the love and support.
