My mom was Miss Alaska Coed Pre-Teen when she was younger, and she likes this pageant because there’s no make-up or swimsuits allowed. Instead, this pageant really focuses on my public speaking skills, poise, and confidence. I believe I have a strong chance of winning. As a straight-A 4th grader, I produced my school’s first annual Geography Bee, and I won the Write-a-Book competition for poetry. I also volunteer and use my allowance to support the Night of Hope Homeless Care Program and StreetHearts Haiti. These organizations help orphans, and that’s very important to me because one of my brothers is adopted from Ethiopia. I want to focus my speeches and other opportunities at the national pageant on how we can take care of orphans.
Thank you so much for your support. Your sponsorship will help strengthen my confidence, develop my poise and public speaking skills, and make my dreams come true!
