Cinema Systers Film Festival

In the previous two years, women from as far away as Australia, Denmark, Canada, California, Florida, Georgia, and many more U.S. states have joined other women in western Kentucky for the ONLY LESBIAN FILM FESTIVAL in the United States. 

Memorial Day Weekend (May 25-27, 2018) will be our third festival.  We're working diligently to make sure the screenings, opening night reception, “Artist Meets Audience” Filmmaker Q & A, live music, Saturday dance party, and Sunday brunch are opportunities for connection, community, learning, and a good time!

This takes a lot of work and a lot of money, though. So far, most of the financing has come from Resin Rebel, the Cinema Systers Film Festival founder and organizer, who attended the Michigan Womyn's Music Festival and took their advice to "plant acorns" in our own communities.
