Cinderella's Treatment
Donation protected
Cinderella was found in Mississipi starved and pregnant. She was almost shot on someone's property when a caring family took her in. Once she had her puppies, she was sent to a foster family in Maryland. This is when I met Cinderella. I was looking for a therapy animal to help my own anxiety and depression. My family was told by Cinderella's foster family of how calm and loving she was. We went to visit her and I knew she would be a great fit for me and my family. I found out that she's been a stray her whole life. Someone left her to die after breeding her. Because she was a stray, she had numerous health issues. Thus far we've paid for her to be treated. Currently, she is still heartworm positive and anemic. The vet has reccomended 2 seperate injections of Immiticide which is about 90% effective in treating her heartworm condition. The funds I raise will go entirely to her treatments and mandatory overnight observation stays following the injections. Cinderella has had a very rough beginning and deserves the best. She is not just a pet to my family but a family member. To me, she is my saving grace. Some may say I rescued her but in all honesty she's rescuing me.
Cinderella is a very loving, attentive pet who's already helped me in some very anxiety producing situations and she responds well to my needs. I need her as much as she needs me right now. I want to make sure she's healthy so that we can take care of one another. I want to make sure that her life has a positive outcome.
