My brain tumor diagnosis came on suddenly. I had no pain or headaches. Weakening in my right hand was the only symptom. My whole life changed on July 14th when I went to the emergency room and was told I had a brain tumor. A biopsy would later confirm the tumor to be malignant and brain surgery was scheduled. I didn’t have any pain with the surgery, but lost all strength in my right arm and leg. Three days later, I was released from the hospital to a rehabilitation facility for three weeks to regain strength in my arm and leg. Today, I have improved mobility and strength and have started my treatment plan of chemo therapy and radiation. Every day I live with the hope of healing and maintaining a positive attitude. I am humbled by the outpouring of love and support from family and friends.My family continues to be my greatest support system. Together we will never give up or give in!
