Cierra's Band Trip to Europe 2020

I'm Cierra, a senior in a small high school in Iowa. I have been playing the Bass Clarinet for 7 almost 8 years. I have been chosen to be apart of the Iowa Ambassadors of Music Concert Band. The summer of 2020 we will travel to Europe. We will perform in England, France, Germany, Austria, Italy, Switzerland, and Liechtenstein. I will perform will students from all over Iowa. The directors are top notch and I am very excited to be working with them. Along with performing I will get to do some sightseeing as well. I will visit the Tower of London, Windsor Castle,  the Eiffel Tower, the Matterhorn, and Dachau. 
This trip will be a benefit to me and other students in many ways. From this I will gain experience, knowledge, and have a better understanding of different cultures. With this trip I will hopefully start to overcome my social anxiety along with becoming comfortable with my Tourette Syndrome.  But this is also a very expensive trip and with my low income family we really can't afford it. So I am doing everything I can to raise money.  I am doing a shoe drive in the fall and will have a silent auction/benefit supper this June.  Those alone will not cover all of the expenses.
Any donations I can get will help me  get closer to my dream and I am grateful . Music is a big part of my life and the opportunity to travel and play with a concert band may never come up again.  Thank you so much for all the support and help.
