Church of the Messiah - Entrepreneurship Center

Tax deductible

Church of the Messiah in Detroit experienced devastating flooding June 30th when 6 inches of rain fell in 5 hours. Get a view here of the damage to the many basement rooms that were used to foster life skills and resources for the holistic development of young people in the surrounding neighborhood. While insurance will pay to restore much of the damage, the impact on the many ministries and businesses will be long lasting. True to form, Pastor Barry Randolph is already envisioning a "2.0", with plans to reconfigure the gymnasium into a center for entrepreneurs called the “I Am” center. The center is already working with 22 young entrepreneurs, helping them to reach their highest potential in service to God and community.

I first learned of the work of Church of the Messiah while doing research for Jesus on Main Street. You can read a short description of their holistic community economic development work in the conclusion of my book, posted free of charge here . Please join me in making the I Am center a reality!
