The roof of our church is falling apart. We have leaks over the entire ceiling whenever it rains and/or snows. The sheet-rock on the ceiling itself is bubbling and falling apart. There is also black mold growing in the crevices of the holes in the roof. The insulation needs to be redone as our winters are very cold and our summers are very hot. During, most cold months we must cancel service due to the inclement weather within the inside of the church. We would like to place a central air unit in the building to regulate the temperature on those upcoming cold months. Regulating the temperature within the church ensures our children do not have to wear their coats on cold days, or be consistently taken to the back of the church to be cooled down during, summer days. Due to increase criminal activity we would also like to install a surveillance system to keep our property safe. Being able to renovate our church will allow us to continue to service the community. We believe our Bishop Edward Saldañas hard work and determination should not go in vain and it is our turn to care for the church.
