CHRW - Connecting The Forest City

The past year, has seen a lot of growth at Radio Western, including a huge uptake of volunteers, new community partners and a new Fall schedule with a slew of new shows. 

Support from previous fundraising campaigns has helped us build studios, purchase remote broadcast equipment, and start our successful video program.  With your financial support in 2017, we built a new studio space for radio production and podcasting - thank you, thank you!

Last year's funding campaign aimed to help us grow deeper relationships with our listeners and our community, and we’re not done yet - the 2018 Connecting The Forest City campaign is upon us! From October 20th to November 2nd, you’ll hear us on the air at Radio Western, asking you to pledge your financial support to our radio station through pledges and online donations. Beyond on-air pledges, we have designed a series of events and opportunities for you to come out and engage with us. We invite you to come out, make an in-person donation and see us broadcast live and on-location.

WHY DONATE TO RADIO WESTERN?
CHRW 94.9 FM is a campus / community radio station, broadcasting from the campus of Western University.  We broadcast 24 hours per day, and are one of the only truly independent media voices in our region. We are volunteer-fueled and accessible, we create programming about and for the London community, and we need your support to keep doing it. 

Funds raised in the Connecting the Forest City campaign will help us continue our broadcasting outreach, equipment maintenance, and upgrades.  We hope you'll consider donating, and helping us grow our station!
