Help us save our Dad’s life.
My name is Tyler I am 14 years old and Brother Joshua is 16.
Our dad, Robert Christopherson was recently diagnosed with Brain Cancer (Glioblastoma grade 4) he had his first seizure on June 26th.
After a few tests, we found out it was caused by a mass and the doctors told him he had a stage 1 tumor on the left side of his brain and there was possibly a small stroke.
After two weeks, they then decided to perform surgery but could not remove the entire tumor because it was too large.
However, they found a second mass on his thalamus; the Doctors believe this is a remnant of an old stroke that he missed.
The conclusion is that the tumor in his temporal lobe is and is a grade 4 being the most aggressive type of tumor. His speech is affected and is memory is going we must start aggressive treatment immediately to save our Dad’s life.
Chemo and radiation treatment is 5 days a week for 6 weeks. The chemo will extend for 12 months, which also involves him taking chemo pills.
The cost per Chemo pills is at $500 each and other mounting Medical Expenses that are incurring daily, our family cannot afford at this time because our Mom Maxine is disabled and wheelchair bound from a rare disease called Charcot-Marie-Tooth disease which affects both motor and sensory nerves. There is no cure for CMT she has lost the ability to function on her own.
Our Dad was the main financial support for the family and he also was the caregiver for our Mom.
We now have to pick up the responsibilities caring for both our Parents and go to school at the same time.
We are asking for your generous donation to help cover Medical expenses for our Father.
We are desperately trying to raise $25,000 to cover Medical Expenses so our father will get the treatments he deserves to save his life.
