As they navigate through the trauma of losing Cayden's mother, it is crucial that they remain together. However, Chris is in desperate need of assistance with lawyer fees as they prepare for the upcoming court date. Despite hoping for a resolution through mediation, it seems that the custody hearing will indeed go to trial.
