Jen’s Journey to Halt MS
Donation protected
Our mother has always been strong. She raised us (twins) by herself as a single mother in her early twenties while working full time, going to nursing school and volunteering as an EMT. At the age of 32 she was diagnosed with Multiple Sclerosis, a debilitating chronic disease that affects the nervous system. Most days she finds it difficult just to get out of bed. She raised two strong women and is currently raising our brother to be a strong, independent young man. As a Christmas gift, Amanda and I would love to give the strength back to her by giving her the chance to receive a Stem Cell Transplant called HSCT. HSCT is a treatment for autoimmune diseases such as MS (Multiple Sclerosis), that has been proven to halt the disease progression. As most of our friends and family know, we are not ones to ask for help with much of anything. My mother is the same way. If you could help in any sort of way it would be greatly appreciated. Thank you for taking the time to read this and Happy Holidays!
