Christmas House Fire Fund

Hello My name is Melanie.

I am starting this go fund me for my twin and her family, As of this Christmas morning at 0930 their home caught fire. Luckily my sister and her two kids, her fiancé and their animalsmade it out of their house alive as it was engulfed in flames. A sudden and violent explosion started in the garage and from there their entire house engulfed in flames and within minutes their Christmas morning turned from joy to despair. The house is not salvageable and it’s -25 and they don’t have anything more then the clothes and shoes they were able to grab within minutes and what neighbours provided as everyone watched as the house was engulfed in flames. I am teary and shaken writing this and just absolutely heartbroken as this home was their families dream home and they worked so hard to attain it, but we are so very blessed and thankful that they all made it out ok. They are rattled and heartbroken but getting settled into an air bnb for today and from here we will help to put their lives back together.

I understand the holidays are a tough time of the year and that it isn’t easy to help anyone but yourself at times, but if you are able to provide any form of donation, anything helps at this time.

We will also be accepting clothing donations as they are all without any clothing but the items on their backs and every little bit helps as we try to piece their lives back together.
