Christmas for a Cancer Family
In November of 2016, my nephew was diagnosed with Hodgkin Lymphoma. He was just 12 years old. He endured six very strong rounds of chemo and had clean scans for a few months. Unfortunately in September 2017, a routine scan found a tumor in his spleen and he's been going through chemo for the last few months. He is now in the hospital and will be there for a full month while he goes through a bone marrow transplant.
I also have a niece who is being cared for by my parents while my brother and sister-in-law are staying with him in the hospital. It will be so difficult having the family split up in different locations for nearly a month - especially the month that we are preparing to put up our Christmas trees, Christmas lights and stockings.
I wanted to set up this Go Fund Me page to help take away some of the financial burden the holidays usually brings.
My brother and sister-in-law do not know I am doing this, I am hoping to surprise them with whatever amount of money is raised from gracious friends and family like you.
Thank you for reading my story and for considering donating. Prayers of strength and healing are also very appreciated.
