Help Provide Christmas Bags of Wholesome Food for 200 Humble Families in Guatemala. Thank you!

Hello, I am talking to you today regarding a community just North of me here in Antigua, Guatemala. I have been working with el Hato for several years now installing eco-stoves in tiny casitas that have nothing but a couple cement blocks for stoves. Smoke filling the 12’X14’ dirt floor living spaces.

This year, due to the pandemic at least 200 of the 400 families are in desperate situations. They are truly impoverished, not culturally, but economically impoverished. They do not know what, if anything they will have for dinner. Some with babies suffering severe malnutrition.

Our goal is to provide at each of the 200 families with a very large, nutritious Christmas bag of good wholesome food. With a chicken in every bag to go along with the staples and enough extra for them to make a big pot of soup for a day or so after. We will not eliminate the dire living conditions, but, if you give what you can to this GoFundMe, with your help we will ensure a Happier, Healthier, Richer Holiday.
