Christine's dream trip

Only 5 short weeks ago our healthy, happy mum was living a normal active life. 


On the 25th March our mum was diagnosed with Cancer, originally thinking it was thyroid cancer, which is very treatable.

After many invasive tests, two short weeks later we received the devastating news that the cancer had already spread and she was diagnosed with stage 4 Oesophageal cancer which means it is no longer curable. 

She has just started her first round of chemotherapy to try to extend her life expectancy, we are still unsure of how successful this may be and how much time we have left with her. 
 
The reason we have set up this gofundme page is to honour our mums life long dream to go to New York and visit ground zero and Maddison Square Gardens.
We will need to organise this in the next few months.

This trip will understandably incur medical expenses and increased insurance premiums and we will also need to acquire a visa from the US embassy.  

We would be extremely grateful if you can help us make mums wish come true, any donation would be massively appreciated by us as a family.
