Christina’s Crusade to Beat Breast Cancer

Christina “Chris” Hoffmeyer has been a kind and familiar face at Mardaga Orthodontics for the past 20 years. 2020 has been a difficult year for many, and after being surprised with emergency gallbladder surgery in the spring, Chris was then diagnosed with breast cancer in late summer. This was devastating news to both her immediate and orthodontic family.
Chris lives with her husband, who proudly serves the community as a Sergeant with Montgomery County Constable Precinct 3. Together they have 3 children. Their eldest son serves on the Montgomery County Sherriff’s Department, their second son works for Montgomery County Precinct 3, and their daughter is a Junior in high school. Christina is also blessed to have her senior mother living in their home.
Chris truly misses seeing her patients, and we miss her smiling face in the office. She is currently receiving chemotherapy treatment, which will be followed by surgery and radiation treatment. She is unable to return to work until she is recovered and healthy. Chris is a strong woman, and we know that her fighting spirit, along with the love and encouragement of our gracious community, can help her beat breast cancer! We are hoping to raise at least $5000.00 to go towards Christina’s ongoing treatment. Any amount of contribution will help relieve the burden of her medical bills, and allow Chris and her family to focus on recovery and health.
