Christina's Leukaemia Fight

Think of the person you love most in the world, the one you would do anything for, well that to us is our dear Christina. Here is her story.
Last week Christina received life altering news that will forever change her and her family’s life. Feeling unwell and unlike herself Christina sought medical advice to explain her fatigue, unexplained bruising and shortness of breath. What she learned is that she had leukemia and she had to seek treatment immediately. Following that incomprehensible diagnosis Christina remained in hospital to start immediate treatment. Christina’s family, Ben and her two children are left reeling from the news and trying to figure out how to move forward. This is where we are asking for your help. Unfortunately, the everyday demands of life won’t stop even for Leukemia. Christina is now looking at a 4 to 6-week journey of chemotherapy in hopes of restoring her health. Ben is left to care for the 2 young children as well as making a home life that the kids can understand.
We are looking for financial support immediately because Christina and Ben’s place of work cannot financially support them while they take time off during her treatment and healing. With your support and generous donations our hope is that the donations we collect will help with travel costs back and forth from the hospital (which is an hour and a half away), food for the family, complementary therapies for Christina, emotional support for the entire family, and of course the mortgage and bills! A life-threatening diagnosis is never easy, but in this time of coronavirus, the uncertainty is exponential. We all hope and pray this illness doesn’t last long for Christina and her family. Christina is a wonderful daughter, sister, wife, mother, aunt, and friend and we all believe in her. She is strong and she is a warrior!
