Christin Slaughter's Memorial Fund
Donation protected
In the fall of 2017, beloved Arrowhead Park instructor Christin Slaughter passed away after a courageous battle with cancer. The students at Arrowhead wanted to memorialize Ms. Slaughter by creating a sitting area in a prominent location on campus. In addition to funding this memorial, the funds raised will be used to establish scholarships in Christin's name for female students seeking post-secondary, science-based degrees.
Christin was a passionate educator who inspired her students to be bold in their educational pursuits. She aimed to inspire and empower young females wanting to pursue careers in the life sciences. We hope that by offering this opportunity, Christin will continue to inspire the next generation of young women in the sciences.
