Chrissy's and Rae's unemployment emergency fund

We are a trans couple living together in the Baltimore area of Maryland. I was recently let go from my full time job of 3.5 years as a lab manager for a community college. This is a huge blow for us financially since rent was more than half of my monthly income and my partner Rae works for close to minimum wage. Rae also relies on me for transportation to and from work since her car is very old and wont start anymore thanks to a broken alternator.

We are also both planning to have gender affirming surgeries some time in 2021. An orchiectomy for myself and vaginoplasty for Rae, so any left over funds we have will be used towards costs associated with both procedures.


Donating to us will help us pay for:

* Rent, groceries and gas.
* Medical transition expenses for both of us.
* Other medical expenses such as dental and vision.
* Fix or replace Rae's car.

This is a very tough, scary, and emotionally taxing time for both of us. Please help us pull through while I look for another job and apply for assistance.  <3

Update: I have an eviction court hearing scheduled the 14th of this month! I've applied for eviction protection through the Baltimore County COVID-19 Eviction Prevention Program but Im not sure they'll even be able to get me the funds in time and I've so far yet to received any help from unemployment. This is urgent!
