Lum's Long Road To Recovery

On Saturday December 9th, 2017 Lum (Chris) was on his motorcycle when someone in an SUV made an improper lane change and smashed into him. He was thrown 30 ft. through the air landing flat on his back. Brought to the hospital as a trauma, he received immediate medical attention and had to be rushed to emergency surgery.  As of now Lum has gone through 3 surgeries and may have more surgeries in the future dependent upon his healing process. His right forearm broke in half, he broke his right hip socket, and he is suffering from mild memory loss. Among everything else that happened from the impact those injuries are the worst. Due to the bones that were broken it will keep him out of work for 4-6 months if not longer. It is unclear as to when he will even be able to walk again as he is unable to even stand and has been completely bed bound. Lum is a father of 4 and he is the sole provider for his family. He is an incredibly hard working man and for him to be in a position where he has to rely on everyone else around him for help is a very difficult task for him to do. We hope to raise enough money so Lum can at least be a little financially comfortable over these next coming months. If he is not worried about his children and his bills then he will be able to focus solely on his recovery so he can claim his life back.
