Medical and Living Expenses

After being treated for a "bad back", my brother in law Chris was finally believed and diagnosed with metastic kidney cancer. He has tumors all over the kidney and adrenals, the spine and even one in his jaw. His pain is being controlled at present but he can no longer work. He has three beautiful children and a wife that's sunshine to the world. His wife Ellen often times has to miss work to take him to various appointments that include, radiation, doctor visits, surgery etc. thereby missing work herself on top of the already missing salary from Chris. As you might imagine this puts an incredible financial strain on the family.......already under the duress of a parent with cancer. The short term disability he will receive (hopefully soon) will be less than one third of his salary and then to add insult to injury he will have to go to the dreaded "Cobra" insurance coverage which will take that entire amount and more.  Any amount of money,a gift card for groceries, gas etc. will help so very much and will help with their necessities. Just imagine if this was your family. No amount is too small, they need so much help with three children and only one wage earner, particularly when she has to take off work a lot for his doctor visits.  God Bless and thank you in advance.
