Chris' Wing Walk for CVS

Wing walk 14th July!

I'm raising money in aid of Cyclical Vomiting Syndrome Association UK.

Our son was diagnosed with CVS aged 17. He spends weeks with uncontrollable vomiting and sometimes his episodes are every other week for several months, leading to extreme weight loss. It is heartbreaking to see your child lose a stone in a week, and before he regains the weight he has lost, another episode starts. We had never heard of CVS until we experienced it, and not many people understand - including doctors! It has meant our son, now 21, struggles to go anywhere where food is served and has a very limited diet. It destroys friendships, hopes and dreams.

Please help raise awareness.
More information about Cyclical Vomiting Syndrome Association UK: Cyclical Vomiting affects both children and adults. It is poorly understood but at times sufferers can be normal and healthy but endure regular episodes of intense nausea and vomiting. These episodes can be up to 6 times per hour lasting days to weeks. It can take years to be diagnosed whilst not receiving any effective treatment. Children are absent from school and adults can lose their jobs. We offer support, education and promote research into CVS.
