Chris' Last Flying Trip

Hello my name is Chris. Im 29 and I live in burbank CA.   About two months ago I had a colonoscopy done due to a bad gut pain. I went in expecting them to find something like IBS. Unfortunatly it turned out to be a large cancerous mass.  After seeing the results of additional scans I was hit with the news that it is stage 4. The cancer has spread to the liver and esophagus. I am currently still working as an Assistant Art Director while Im healthy enough to. As for insurance I am lucky enough to have most of the cost covered, though the part that is not covered will cost me everything I had saved to make a cross county flight in a rented cessna.
I have been planning the trip since I earned my pilots license 2 years ago.  My Doctor informed me that I have anywhere from a 8 months to a few years to live unless a new treatment is found. Due to this possible short time window to be able to accomplish this trip Im asking for help. 

I hope to raise money so I can go on one last trip as a pilot with my girlfriend Megan. Our goal is to travel at the end of October from Los Angeles to Virginia to visit my family then down to Florida to visit Megans family before returning to LA in November for surgery which will not allow me to make long trips in the plane again.
