Chris is 40, live karaoke anyone ?

Our wee Chris is turning 40 and in celebration, he is achieving a life goal of singing on stage.  In typical Chris style, however, he is not keeping the performance portion of the evening to himself! 
Not only will the debt show for his band Fallen Empires be at the world famous Mercury Lounge but after there will be a full live karaoke band. What does that mean?  Well, we can all get up on stage, jump in on the act and become rock stars belting out our favourite songs for a golden moment of stardom all in Chris's honor.  
So why a Gofund me? 
Chris really doesn't need any gifts, I mean truly what can you buy the man that has everything (and what he doesn't have he can build for himself out of cardboard boxes).  Instead of buying Chris a gift please contribute any amount of money you feel comfortable to help pay for the karaoke band.  
If we go over the financial goal then all extra money will be donated towards a charity close to Chris's heart.
