Father Christmas fundraiser

Donation protected
Hi everyone!
Every year my dad goes to his local nursery in Kempston to play Father Christmas, talk to the children and give out presents. Unfortunately this year he was unable to do this so they asked him to do a video of him reading a Christmas story dressed up as father christmas.
We thought it would be nice to share this with others to raise some christmas cheer especially for those who may not be able to go and see father christmas this year.

All we ask is for 1. Please let us know feedback about what you and your child thought of the story. This would make my dads year! My mum and dad have been shielding this year and he has really missed being able to be father christmas in person! He loves doing it so any feedback would be amazing!

And number 2. We unfortunately lost my brother/his son last year following a battle with alcoholism and we have been steadily raising money in his memory (£5000 last year at an event at Sharnbrook!). This year has been difficult to fundraise so we thought we would set up this page for people to donate whatever they wanted to. There is no minimum as we know peoples circumstances are all different this year.

The money will be going to three different charities in Bedfordshire and Hertfordshire.

The first being Bedford Open Door an amazing charity who offer counselling for all 13-25 year olds around Bedfordshire. they have even continued to offer this service throughout lockdown virtually and in person!

The second charity is Just Us a lovely charity helping homeless people have a voice and provide them with the necessary help and legal advice to find housing!

The final charity is The Living Room is an amazing charity who offers anyone living with any addiction in Hertfordshire counselling, group therapy and advice.

Please share this idea as far and wide as possible. The more cheer we can spread and the more money we can raise for these amazing charities the better!

If anyone would like to know more about my brothers struggles, would like advice or seek support we are happy to signpost. We also run a page in Facebook called the Chris Frankish Trust where we share some positivity and useful tips and websites for everyone to share with those who may need that extra bit of help
