Support Chosen Few's AAU Season

We are The CHOSEN Few - a group of young ladies that were hand-selected to represent Southern Maryland and King George,Virginia, in national tournament play for the 2014 Spring/Summer travel season. 

Traditionally, these areas, while ripe with talent, have been underserved in the ability to pool talent and compete with teams from more established girls basketball communities. We've had to travel anywhere from 45 minutes to 1 1/2 hours (one way) several times a week to participate, in a competitive level, in the sport we love.  We hope this is the beginning of an opportunity for us to truly represent our hometowns by playing where we live, go to school and play.

We are turning to the community and our extended families to ask for support to help cover the costs associated with the 2014 season, including two major exposure tournaments in Orlando, Florida and Nashville, Tennessee.  These exposure events allow for us to be seen in front of countless college coaches and college recruiters and potential scholarship opportunities.

We are looking forward to a very productive season and are looking to grow as individuals and as a team. We also have an opportunity to serve as volunteer coaches and mentors to a group of 6th graders who are learning the game. With your help, we will be better and stronger people and players. In turn, we will outwork the rest and we will help the next group of girls following  in our footsteps.
