CHOP help for Georgia

Donation protected
Georgia became sick in November of 2018. She was misdiagnosed several times, before Brenner's Childrens Hospital finally figured out she had AMPS (Amplified Musculoskeletal Pain Syndrome) and referred her to Children's Hospital of Philadelphia.  We went in February of 2020. She had a team of doctors, who sent us back home with a care plan of physical, occupational and cognitive behavioral therapy. They took her off all of the medications that her doctors here had her on, and it was so nice to see my kid again without the medication fog. They explained that the problem is in her central nervous system, and medication would never help her, only mask things. We got home at the beginning of March, ready to get started, and then the world shut down due to Covid-19. Georgia was unable to get the care she needed. We had to go back to CHOP over Thanksgiving weekend. They decided that she would do better as an inpatient for 3-5 weeks, but will wait until February, to see what this virus does. We will incur travel expenses, we will be without one salary, as a family, we will be split up for that timeframe. There will medical expenses and various other things that we have to plan for. We will hopefully be able to stay the Ronald McDonald House. We are so excited at the thought of Georgia being healed enough to no longer be in constant pain. Any help would be greatly appreciated! Thank you for taking the time to read this!
