Chloe the Warrior!

Cheryl Heppner, a fellow Cavalier mom from the Facebook group I belong to started this campaign on my behalf. I didn't want her to have to keep it up and put any more work into it. My Chloe, who is much more than my pet, got sick on November 9th. She endured two separate hospital stays, abdominal surgery, and multiple procedures as doctors tried to diagnose her. She refused food and water, was weak and extremely lethargic.  I believed she was actively dying in front of my eyes!    We still have no definitive diagnosis and the specialist believes Chloe has a rare and severe form of Inflammatory Bowel Disease.  She's taking several medications through a feeding tube and seems to be responding well. We worry about relapse that would buy her another hospital visit.   Her medical bills (just like her good friend and fellow IBD sufferer Major's) are tapping her mom out but her mom won’t give up. Can we help another very sick pup please?  Chloe also suffered from bilateral luxating patellas. She had her first surgery to correct them November 2016. The second knee was repaired in July of this year and unfortunately, she suffered the complication of broken hardware and required additional surgery to correct it in October. Poor thing wasn't even recovered from that when this hit her.    Chloe celebrated her 3rd birthday three days before getting sick. She's a special girl and the idea of losing her so soon is almost unbearable.  I understand there are financial responsibilities that come with adopting puppies, but I could never have anticipated this kind of expense. I pray that I don't ever need to make decisions based on finances versus her quality of life.
