Randall Weir loved his family. He adored Chloe and Claire. Courtney has said many times that this was the HAPPIEST she had been in her entire life.
Why do such tragedies happen to people of faith?
The Bible says we only know in part....we should only trust the One who knows.
Courtney's faith has been tested before and the Lord has given her strength to overcome. Because of Jesus we are assured of His love and support and we are confident He will continue to strengthen her.
In lieu of flowers we are setting up this avenue to show support for Courtney, Chloe and Claire. Randall wanted a better life for his family. Your kind donation will be used for Chloe and Claire's educational expenses.
From Courtney: I want to thank you all for donating to this cause. Randall expressed many times wanting to start a college fund for the girls and as life got busy, we never did. Don't feel obligated to donate, but know that we are trying to fulfill one of his goals.
On a side note, no marriage is perfect; it takes work. If you have seen the video of my graduation speech that he gave, he said "If you think marriage is easy, I would ask what kind of medication you are on." Randall was a good man, but like some, he battled demons. It doesnt mean he loved me any less. Some struggle worse than others and some overcome them, and some give in. Unfortunately, it was Randall's time to go, and I have to believe it. There had been many opportunities over Randall's life where God could have called him home, but it happened this week. I will never understand it and I will have to live with this the rest of my life. I will have unanswered questions and struggle through grief. However, I will use this for something good; even if it its hard.
Life, unfortunately, is never easy; at least not for me. As a result of this, I will attempt to help individuals if I can see they are struggling with depression or any other issue. I will attempt to lift them up and love people where they are at during any phase of their life. Please if you are having problems of any kind, speak out. I will be here for you.

I wanted to share some of our favorite times together. We loved "adventuring" . Randall was so proud to be a husband and father, he always tried to lift others up when they were going through a hard time. I have heard many stories of how he loved and encouraged people over the years. His struggles dont make him any less of the person we want to love and remember. Because of that I wanted to share some photos of our love and adventures.
