ADA Renovations "Steve Kemper"

Donation protected
Steve was cutting down a tree limb on Saturday the 5th July 2014, when the limb swung around and knocked the ladder out from under him. He grabbed at the branch but didn't have enough time to catch hold properly. He fell flat on his back. He was then rushed to CAMC in Charleston where he underwent emergency surgery. Before the surgery he could not feel below his knees. After surgery the lack of sensation crept up his legs until it stopped at his waist. He has since been admitted to the Shepherd center in Atlanta Georgia for rehab. He is making daily progress towards living with his disability. But in order for him to live at home changes need to be made. Specifically, a bathroom needs to be added on that is wheelchair friendly as the existing ones are definately not. Also getting into the house is a problem that needs to be fixed with ramps. Sundry other changes also need to be made to the whole house to enhance the accessibility for a wheelchair. All your help and prayers are greatly appreciated.
