Rico, a Bernese Mountain Dog, has become trapped downstairs at the Wellington Arms pub in Rooksbridge after breaking both cruciate ligaments in his back legs. Since his accident Rico, who is much loved by locals, has had to remain downstairs in the pub.
So we as the local community have come up with the idea of getting a lift put in the pub to enable Rico to get back upstairs to his home. We need to raise £10000.00 to get this installed. So all of the local children have decided to raise money to help with this by hosting a skittle'a'thon. The kids aim to knock down 10000 skittles over the Halloween weekend, and we are asking you all to sponsor a £1 a skittle,
