Chiefs Accident Fund

Chief was hit by a car yesterday.  He has a laceration on his hip, and luckily no broken bones.  However, one of his lungs have partially collapsed, there is fluid around his lungs, and his liver enzymes were  little elevated.  They kept him over night last night and will be tonight as well.  We are receiving updates every few hours as we are not allowed to be with him because of COVID 19.  He is being treated at VCA Animal Hospital in Aurora, IL.  They are trying to keep us updated and calm, and they are remaining patient with me as I bombard them with questions and worries.

We are also struggling, as many others are, because of COVID 19.  We have not received our stimulus yet. The stimulus site also does not have a date for us.  I was able to pay the deposit but that leaves us with the rest, which will be at least another $2,000-$2,500 more.  We were only quoted for 48 hours of treatment.  I have attached his treatment plan and whatever documents his regular vet gave us, before moving to the hospital.
