Chester Upland Soccer for Success

The Chester Upland Soccer for Success Program uses soccer as a catalyst to promote nutrition education, mentorship, physical activity, and family engagement within educationally and/or economically distressed communities.

We provide a free afterschool soccer program to twelve sites within the Chester-Upland School District. Over the last five years, we've worked with over 1,600 participants and seen positive results.

2/3 participants improved or maintained their Body Mass Index.

3/4 participants improved or maintained their aerobic capacity.

96% of participants like soccer more.

Our work has recently been featured in the HuffingtonPost:

To continue to provide this innovative soccer program, we need your help. Our goal is to raise $12,000 by June 30th.

Your gift of:

$25 provides a player with a ball, jersey, and shinguards.
$180 gives one player a season of Soccer for Success
$500 funds a parent-engagement dinner for one of our school sites.
$5,040 provides Soccer for Success for one team of 14 youth for an entire academic year at a 7:1 ratio.
