Cheryl's fight against Cancer

One of our beloved coworkers has been undergoing some serious health issues these past few months. Cheryl works part-time at a privately owned veterinary hospital in Los Gatos, CA. She is such a wonderful coworker and a beautiful person inside & out and is always ready to help you with whatever you need. Cheryl has been living with her aunt that has dementia and has been her main caretaker for the past 2 years. She is so selfless and always comes to work with a beautiful smile regardless of how ill she's been feeling.

Recently, Cheryl has been experiencing a lot of pain in her abdomen and the doctors suspected it was gallstones. Cheryl was scheduled for surgery for Tuesday 02/20/18 at Kaiser Hospital, but upon checking in for surgery on Tuesday morning, the Doctor noticed how jaundiced she is. An ultrasound was performed today and revealed that she has 2 masses in her abdomen - one on her liver and one on her pancreas. The Doctor broke the news that he suspects Cheryl might have Pancreatic and liver Cancer. The Doctor is already discussing options of chemotherapy and took a biopsy sample to confirm whether the masses are cancerous or benign.

We wanted to start this campaign to help our wonderful friend/coworker Cheryl with all the necessities she would need that will include: meals, medical treatments, & living arrangements.
