Cherisse needs teeth!
Donation protected
4 years ago my sister, Cherisse Bastian Jaeger, was diagnosed with a rare form of cancer in her upper jaw. She underwent surgeries that removed her upper jaw, her palate (roof of her mouth) as well as parts of her cheekbones. Radiation therapy further destroyed bones. She had a feeding tube placed in her stomach. She had further treatment for cancer in her lymph nodes. Now, after many surgeries to prepare her mouth, she needs a custom designed prosthesis made for her mouth - with teeth! The out of pocket cost is $12,500.
Cherisse has been positive and cheerful through countless days of pain and misery. With a prosthesis, she could talk normal again. She could enjoy food. She would look more like herself. She could really smile again!
She could also go back to work and be self sufficient again.
Cherisse and my entire family would appreciate any help you can give us to make this a reality. Cherisse does not like to have her picture taken but I insisted. She puffs out air behind her lips so they don't curl back into her mouth. Isn't she amazing?
