Chemo for Bruiser

My 9 year old boxer, Bruiser, was just diagnosed with lymphoma. I was told he is a very good candidate for chemo therapy. The insurance I have for him will only cover $2,400 per year for his chemo., I have been told the therapy can go as high as $10,000.  Bruiser was added to our family by request of my child, who suffers from bipolar and borderline personality disorder, to aide in therapy as there is no medication to treat borderline personality disorder. Unfortunately none of the medications for bipolar have helped my child.  Having Bruiser in my child’s life has been more beneficial then we ever thought. My child has become very successful in holding down a job and the difficulties that come up in daily life are easier because of the connection with Bruiser. Bruiser is a very loving,  and gentle dog, a special member of our family. My life has been enriched because of Bruiser.
