Chelsie's Battle
Donation protected
This past year Chelsie celebrated her 30th birthday but also received the devastating news that she was now facing her second round of cancer. In November of 2015 Chelsie was diagnosed with Stage 3 colon cancer. After two different surgeries that removed four large masses and four feet of her intestines; she was finally in remission.
Flash forward to August of 2018, Chelsie returned to a variety of tests and examinations that concluded the diagnosis of Stage 3 Astrocytoma Glioma. Since then she has continued to persevere through the treatment while still maintaining a full time job and keeping a household together with her boys at home.
Battling a cancerous tumor has severely impacted her daily life. Emotionally, physically and financially she is silently fighting a tremendous battle while keeping a smile on her face. She endures several different injections, scans and heavy medications every month that usually costs her around two thousand dollars a month after insurance.
As witnesses to Chelsiesconstant battle, we are inspired by her strength and perseverance to continue to live life to its fullest. We would love the opportunity to give back to a woman who constantly puts others first before herself, even during her cancer treatments. By easing the financial burden, Chelsie can focus more on getting through this journey without having the constant stress of how she will afford her medications that month.
