Chelsea : La Musica Lirica - Italy

This summer (June 18 - July 21) I have been given the exciting opportunity to sing opera in Italy! The Program is called La Musica Lirica, an international educational festival for young singers.  I have been selected into the Young Artist Division.  This division is for singers that are ready to begin a professional opera career. Under this division, I will be performing the role of Amore in the opera, L\'incoronazione di Poppea.  I have also been asked to understudy the role of Rosina in Il Barbiere di Siviglia under the opera division dedicated only to currently performing and professional singers and am performing in touring scenes around Italy.  These performances are solely in Italian and will be performed for Italian audiences.  Not only do I get to perform, but I also have the opportunity to work with world reknown instructors, take Italian classes, and live in Italy.
