Chelcie's visit to see her father
Donation protected
If you’re reading this, and you are a client of 30A Vet, you likely know Chelcie Barden, our Manager. Chelcie has been our loyal soldier for over 2 years now and is the treasured veteran of our veterinary team. Beloved by all of our clients, and leaned on heavily by the staff and doctors of the clinic, Chelcie is always bright and cheerful and goes that extra mile for our clients and for the staff day after day.
What you don't know about Chelcie is that she recently found out her father, who resides in Michigan, is dying of cancer. Today she found out that he is being moved to hospice and she is flying out early tomorrow morning to try to spend a little time with him during his final days.
We've purchased a plane ticket to get her there and back, but she needs a small amount of money to help cover the extra costs of traveling and missing work. She has never asked us for help, and did not ask us to help her in any way, but with some prodding, we found out that this trip is a financial burden on her, so much so that she thought she might not be able to make the trip.
We know that our clients love her so very much, and we felt that reaching out to our “client family” was appropriate. She agreed to allow us to start this GoFundMe and to send it via direct email to our clients. A small donation of just $5 to $10 by many will go a long way, and we are grateful for any small amount that you can contribute to help her to say good bye to her father.
From the bottom of our hearts, thank you,
Alicia, Ellie, Dr. T , Dr. O and Rob
