Cheery Children Education Centre Fundraiser

Every child's dream is valid. 

For the children of Kibera, one of the world’s largest slums, the only way out is through education. The sole purpose of the centre is to serve children from vulnerable families in Kenya especially those living in Kibera slum in Nairobi.

Its just not simply a centre for those forgotten, orphaned, abused, abandoned and hungry children but a place where character is nurtured and hope given to these hopeless children. The Cheery Children's Education Centre ( CCEC) was opened to offer children, all of whom are poor and some of whom are orphans, a place to learn.

Help us give the gift of education to the children of Kibera Slum. All monies raises will be used for tuition, much needed school supplies, curriculum and operational costs.  

Through your generosity, we can turn dreams into realities. Help make education a right and not a luxury.  By making a financial contribution, you can make a difference in the life of a child: 

$30 provides 1 new uniform including a navy blue sweater, checked navy blue shirt and a dress for the girls or khaki slacks for the boys

$50 sponsors 1 child for three months of school

$100 buys 5 pairs of good black leather uniform shoes

$300 sponsors 1 child for tuition and meals for a whole year

$500 provides 2 meals (or food for 100 kids for a month)

$1200 pays for the salary of 1 teacher for a full year

We are excited to share with you the opportunity to pour into the lives of children at CCEC.  Our group of 18 is traveling to Nairobi, Kenya from February 27th to March 14th. While in Nairobi we will be serving the children and staff of Cheery Children Education Centre (CCEC).
