Cheering for Kenny!

Hello to all family and friends, we are so sorry to reach out to everyone this way but it seems to be the quickest way possible to provide updates on Kenny.

On Wednesday, August 14, 2019 Kenny was called to a residence for a gas leak.  While in the basement there was an explosion that he was badly injured in.  The details of the explosion are still under investigation.  Kenny is phenomenal at his job and thankfully he knew what to do to get out of the house quick and to protect himself the best way he was able to.  Scott (co-worker and friend) went immediately to be by his side to ensure family was notified, make sure he received the proper care and he was taken care of.  Angels come in many different forms and thankfully Scott was there. First responders arrived at the scene and then they quickly air lifted him to St. Paul where he is currently in critical care in the burn unit.  

Unfortunately the severity of his injuries are unknown at this time as burns are constantly evolving during the first several days.  Please know that he is in wonderful care with fantastic nurses and he has his family by his side.  We have passed along all of your well wishes to him and it has brought a smile to his face.  

It will make you laugh to know that he requested his feeding tube had a hamburger and a Busch Light for dinner last night  

His spirits are high, he is tough and together we will get down this road to recovery cheering behind him every step of the way.
