Hello All:
If you know Manos like we do he is always with a smile, a joke, a helping hand. Looks at life positively, cup half full, sarcasm :') included. As of recent, it has been hard to see that cup half full as he has come across some serious health challenges in 2024 to today. As privacy is important, it makes it quite hard to ask for support & assistance if you don't know what is going on. With his permission, he shares the following:
'Last year began what was going to be an unexpected year of health challenges that I could never expect or plan for. From breathing issues that prevented me to walk 10 steps without gasping for air, to a continued weight loss of +/- 50lbs, I admitted myself to the hospital 5x from May-October 2024. Then in 2025 without improvement I received an early cancer diagnosis and began my 1st round of chemo in Feb. Fast forward to May and while me and my doctors see a positive shift in health I am far from the finish line. I dropped my life in TX and have moved to NJ to be with family for the support needed to get healthy again. I have nothing but positive thoughts. A huge shout out to my friends and family.'
Due to Manos' health he has been out of work 13 months. He is not expected to return to work anytime soon and has applied for the lengthly process of disability. But as anyone knows it will be another 1/2 year before he even knows anything.
Friends & Family, we ask for some assistance for Manos to get through this hardship, be able to take care of his medical expenses and keep his feet on the ground while he continues this phase in life. Anything and everything is always appreciated. Please share and repost where possible as that alone is helping him to get the word out.
