Chasercon Thank You Fund

For twenty years, Chasercon has become a cultural icon within the storm chasing community.  As it has grown, so has its expenses, unfortunately to a point where annually Roger and Caryn Hill have been forced to pay the shortfalls out of their own pockets.  This is usually in excess of several thousands of dollars which is subtracted from their retirement funds.

Part of the reason this occurs is last-minute cancellations which then force hotels with which they've contracted forcing them to pay for space and food that *would* have been free had all the room bookings expected actually showed up.

This fund is a way to thank Caryn and Roger for their years of hard work and personal financial sacrifice.  Without their guidance, Chasercon would never have continued this long.  It is highly likely Chasercon may be in its last year, but we hope this fund will at least help offset years of cost overruns.
