Charo and Anna Medical Fund

Maria Roccio de Guinto (better known as Charo) and her cousin Anna, were struck by a driver, who ran a red light, Wednesday night at approximatly 9:15pm.
Anna (who was in the passenger seat) was ejected from the vehicle and currently in a coma. Charo, sustained broken bones and remains stable. Both are currently in the ICU at UCSD Medical Center.
It is unclear if either Charo or Anna have health coverage, and regardless of that, they will need assistance with medical bills. Charo will also need a car (when she is ready to drive again) as well as need help paying basic bills, until she able to return to work.
As her husband passed away a few years ago Charo is the sole provider of her family. Her family includes: herslef, her two sons (Alex and Alan), her mother and Anna.
Both Charo and Anna have been a part of the Coronado Community for 25 plus years. Charo has made her living providing home care services to families in town. She is trustworthy, reliable, whole hearted and an incredible person. Please do what you can to help both Charo and Anna.
