This fund is In Memory of Charlotte Greenwood Lacey - our dearest friend, sister and aunt who passed away suddenly January 5th, 2015.
Charlotte had an incredible heart and capacity to give to others which she did through her work as an amazing massage therapist. Fondly known as the "Little Torturess", her hundreds of clients never took for granted that she didn't hesitate to add a few more minutes of treatment if she knew it was what we NEEDED despite the fact her alotted time had run out. She always gave 110%.
But her giving did not stop at people - Charlotte loved animals and took care of many dogs through the years - most recently Heidi whom she adopted through Mosaic Animal Rescue .
Most recently Charlotte had also been volunteering at O.W.L. Orphaned Wildlife Rehabilitation Society as a tour guide, giving yet more of herself and time with others.
In the spirit of Charlotte's incredible capacity to give we would like to raise money for both Mosaic Animal Rescue AND O.W.L. Orphaned Wildlife Rehabilitation Society. All monies raised through GoFundMe will be split 50/50 between the two organizations.
We all miss Charlotte deeply - a beautiful soul gone too soon. May her generous spirit live on through the help that this fund will generate.
